Do you know the following scenario? You hardly managed to fill in a form, but before being able to send or save, your text gets extinguished because of some computer problem.
This extension will prevent such annoyances by saving your text with every keystroke.
The text backup data will be stored to a local file by default, but an own cookie could be used too (see FAQ Q06).
In it's default configuration AutoSaveText will AUTO-restore a text if the site where you once typed that text is re-opened or reloaded. You may use a blacklist to exclude special websites (e.g. search engines).
If you wish to restore a text manually instead, then go to the AutoSaveText options and check 'Never restore automativally, show a button on the page'.
